Pessimism – such a wasteful state of mind
Explore and I think, you’ll find
A ‘fatalist’ it’s better to be
‘Cause then it’s all ‘fait accompli’
No point worrying since your future is predefined.

    Wow, that’s profound! Easily the most serious limerick I’ve come across.

    Also very appropriate for my day since I watched 7 close coworkers get laid off. The whole day was stressful not knowing who was going to get the next call and your poem really fits well there!

    I also was quite proud of this one which is why I posted it.
    Well, there’s more where that came from, I just have to make sure I keep at it.

    Hope you are recovering after the lay-offs. Hang in there, sister.
